Alphabets and Numbers

Mimicking well is truly Imran's best trait. Turns out all those nursery rhymes he's been watching on TV has its benefits after all. Despite my fears of accidentally raising a TV-child, he has turned out just fine. He's now able to not only copy the dance moves of the nursery rhyme characters but also say out alphabets and numbers in order.

Just the other day:-
A-Apple, B-Ball, C-Cat, D-Dog, E-Phant (Elephant), F-Fish, G-Goat, H-Hat, I, J-Jump, K-Roo (Kangaroo), L-Lamb, M-Key (Monkey), N-Nose, O-Pus (Octopus), P, Q-Queen, R, S-Nake (Snake), T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z-Zebra

Knows his numbers to 14

And is especially good at animal sounds.
Lion, Tiger - roar
Horse - neigh, neigh
Cow - moo, moo
Elephant - pawoo
Snake - hiss
Sheep - baa, baa
Duck - quack, quack
Rooster - doooo (cock-a-doodle-doo)
Mouse - squeak
Frog - bit, bit
and many more.

Family Fun: Aquaria KLCC

During the labour day weekend, we finally took Imran out for an aquatic experience and brought him to Aquaria KLCC. Since our initial plans to explore Johor and Malacca failed due to ill health, we did stuff within KL instead. It was a busy, busy long weekend for us.

Saturday was spent with family. We held a family gathering and had my family and in laws over, so it was full house! Fun in da house with tons of food and just plain ol' family gossip and chit chat time.

On Sunday, we made our way to KLCC and our first stop was Aquaria. Imran was quite excited though his excitement is slightly dampened coz he's actually super sleepy since he's not yet had his morning nap. He's normally super fascinated by water so its really no surprise that he was super happy to see so much water in one spot. He was frustrated coz we wouldn't let him poke his fingers in the water where all the fishes are. He was a bit taken aback when he saw the sharks so he was like oooo oooo scared scared but he enjoyed the experience nevertheless. By the end of that tunnel, he was sound asleep.
